Newton Fell

There are two summits described by Wainwright for Newton Fell, namely Newton Fell North (White Stone) and Newton Fell South (Dixon Heights)

Newton Fell North (White Stone)

Height 280 metres/920 feet      Grid Reference SD 39008 84825     Wainwright Outlying Fell

The Coniston fells from White Stone.

Newton Fell South (Dixon Heights)

Height 177 metres/580 feet      Grid Reference SD 41349 81549     Wainwright Outlying Fell

The ruined tower on the top of Dixon Heights.
