A frozen, clear day which was warm in the sunshine.

The Langdale Pikes from the Blea Tarn road at the start of the
walk.

Little Langdale Tarn from High Bield with Wetherlam in the
centre and Swirl How and Great Carrs to the right.

Dunmail Raise in the distance with Steel Fell to the left and
the Fairfield ridge to the right.

The Langdale Pikes with Lingmoor Tarn to the right.

Crinkle Crags and Bowfell from the summit of Lingmoor Fell.

Blea Tarn and Pike O' Blisco from Lingmoor Fell.

Side Pike from the ridge running up to Lingmoor Fell with
Bowfell and The Band behind.

The Langdale Pikes, L-R Pike O' Stickle, Loft Crag, Thorn
Crag, Harrison Stickle, Pavey Ark.
