Dog
Daze! - April 2006
(formerly known as The Angus Diaries - now it's double
trouble!)
During April Angus gained a new
fell-brother, Casper, and one became two! So it's goodbye to The Angus
Diaries and hello to Dog Daze! Now of course there are twice as many
opportunities for candid out takes from the Angus and Casper diaries.
From Angus' point of view, Casper is like
an annoying little brother. His favourite game is to lie in wait for
Angus and then run at him as fast as he can with a flourishing "woof" as
he does so (see some of this on the clip below). Of course, Angus is far
too statesmanlike to respond to this childish behaviour, but I know he
finds it very irritating so it can't be long before a warning response
is fired across Casper's bow.
I hope you enjoy this selection from the
fell-walking master and the young pretender.

Enjoying the view from Walla Crag.

and in a thoughtful mood.

That's a lovely pose on Stickle Pike...

...thanks, but I've had enough now...

...be seeing you!...

...whoops, wrong way!

The eye is on Latterbarrow.

That was a great swim to get this stick in the River
Duddon.

Casper knows an easier way to get it though, even if Angus is
not impressed!

Up on Blawith Knott, the miniature Casper gets a ride on the giant Angus'
back!

Is there anybody in there?

If only my tongue was a bit longer, I'd get that fly.

Looks like Angus is falling asleep on Beda Fell.
See the
Hungry Hippos on Beda Fell. (Please
excuse the heavy breathing!)

Casper ahead by a nose on Great Burney.

Or is he?

The finest sight in the whole of England (and the
Scafell range!).

Reflected glory.

On the way home from Hard Knott, Casper had a (short)
swim in the River Duddon.
