Dog
Daze! - July 2006
(formerly known as The Angus Diaries - now it's double
trouble!)
It's been hot, hot, hot here in Lakeland
and the dynamic duo's tongues have been growing proportionally longer
with the temperature rise. Any patch of dampness, however small has been
frequented by these two dehydrated dogs.
I hope you enjoy this month's selection from
'Dog Daze!', the out takes from the fellwalking Beardie duo.

Anything but cold on Cold Pike - Crinkle Crags and Bow
Fell behind.

Having a rest on Pike o' Blisco.

A longest tongue competition for the bookends on Lingmoor Fell.

Taking it easy on Side Pike.

"If I play dead, Roger won't make me pose for a
photo."

'Superdog' on Brim Fell.

In a reflective mood on the way up to Caw.

You looking at me?

Angus on Beacon Fell.

Swimming with Connie in Beacon Tarn.

Drying off in the sun.

Pant, pant, pant, p-a-n-t! Too hot on Middle Fell.

What can Connie be laughing at? Casper of course
having a mad minute rolling around.

No reason for it, just thought he would.

All highly amusing for Connie of course!

Daddy and Angus have a rest on Water Crag - photo by
Connie.

Another photo from 'InDevokeWaterCam'!

Casper looks every inch a mountain dog now, here on
Brown Pike.
-----
...and now for something completely
different! The two photos below were taken in Strasbourg at the prologue
stage of the Tour de France at the beginning of July - both have
appeared in UK national magazine Cycling Weekly, the first one twice!

Sebastian Lang.

British rider David Millar.
