Daze! - September 2006
It was a return to the longer walks
during September and a resurgence in form for Angus - it must have been
the heat that caused him a problem during the summer, but now his pace
and stamina are back to normal. The sunshine of the early part of the
month gave way to wind a a damp end - not to worry, we will be out in
all weathers I am sure. I hope you enjoy these latest out-takes of the
fell walking Beardie duo taken during September.

It was a lovely day up on the east side of Coniston at the beginning
of the month - our first walk for a couple of weeks after our annual
holidays.

Casper enjoyed soaking up the sunshine.

As did Angus, who looks like he is trying a spot of 'fly fishing'
here!

Casper has a roll around in the grass - where is
Angus?

I think he enjoyed it so much up here that he thought he would hide
from us...for 3 hours, which caused a bit of a kafuffle to say the
least!

For the next walk I thought we'd better keep out of the bracken and
out of harms way, so we had a walk around the Langdale Pikes.

Spotted from 1000 yards, one man and 4 sheep, or is it 2 Beardies and
2 sheep? Lin and Chris were out on the Langdales too and spotted us from
afar.

Lin catches up with us and poses for a photo with the doggy duo. No
need to hold them, they won't move when the camera is out! I didn't make
a very good job of getting out of the way, did I? Thanks for the photos
Linda and Chris Charnley.

There's something over there, I'll ignore the perfect
view of the Scafells behind!

Pool with a view - Casper has a dip in a tempting
mountain tarn with a view to Harter Fell.

Angus doesn't want to be left out either...

...so let's go!

Too windy on the Uldale Fells.

Far too windy!

Angus on Calfhow Pike heading for Clough Head.
