Daze! - August 2007
The months are coming round quicker than
I can keep up with! It will soon be Christmas - now there's a cheery
thought for you all. Dog Daze! - formerly The Angus Diaries - seems to be
turning into The Casper Diaries these days. That is testament to his
youthful vigour and Angus' advancing years. He simply cannot do the big
walks these days. Never mind, he still manages one or two good walks and
he is still featuring in this months collection of out-takes from our
walking diary.

Angus has a little chuckle to himself on Coniston Old
Man.

A snake in the grass.

'I'll just make sure no one can see me while I soak me
poor, tired feet in here' - on Harrison Stickle.

'Blimey, me tongues just not quite long enough to get a
drink today'.

'I do like this windswept, rugged look Dad'.

'I dunno - not long enough when you need it, then it gets
too long at the most inconvenient time'.

'Can't get it in...'
'...no, still can't...'

'...got it!'.

'Awww'

'Ha ha ha. Me. Up there? You've got to be kidding,
right?'.

Just the merest hint of a breeze on Pillar today.

'If you are going to stand there and take photos, then I
am going to roll over and get some sleep.'

'Hmmm, how are we going to get across to Steeple from
here?'.

'Can you see it? Should I get down...a bit more?'.

This makes a lovely nest on Cold Pike.

'I hope Angus doesn't notice that my tongue is stuck to
my nose!'.

'I may be getting on a bit, but I'll show that young pup
how to have a photo taken with style. None of that untidy tongue hanging
out malarkey for me!'.
