Dog
Daze! - January 2008
Wet, wet, wet is about the only way to describe the month
of January. The weather has hampered our walking exploits somewhat,
although we have still managed to get out albeit at a lower level than
we would have liked. So dry off, sit back, relax and enjoy the first Dog
Daze! of 2008, the official out-take journal of Angus and Casper the
fell walking Beardies.

Angus is going for a stick (fast swimmer), Casper is
going for the shore (extremely fast swimmer!) in Coniston Water.

The unstoppable source meets the immovable object!
Nothing would stop Angus getting to his prize, or Casper getting to his
for that matter.

Angus blows a raspberry to Casper - these fells are
all mine today.

'Not sure what all this white stuff is'.

'Sugar perhaps? I'll have to try and eat it all'.

What a mess Casper!

Hiding amongst the heather.

Ghostly Casper in the strong wind on Hopegill Head.

I'm not quite sure what's going on here. What on
earth are you up to Casper?

Have you ever seen a dog lie down like this, with his
back legs outstretched? We are supposed to be on a walk for heavens
sake!

I think that guilty look says we have interrupted his
private game.

'See, all that snow came off in the end'.

'Hey girls, watch me MOVE!'.

'Look, I can do it over here in the water too.'

'Girls? Girls...?'

Relaxing at home after a hard day on the fells. 'No
camera flash is going to wake me up'.

'I'm still here!'.
