Dog
Daze! - August 2008
A serious lack of walks this month means a seriously
depleted Dog Daze! I'm not sure we have missed too much with the weather
being as it has been, hopefully September will bring better weather and
I hope to get out for a few more walks. Until then, enjoy this moths
(truncated) Dog Daze!
Don't forget, Angus and Casper will be in residence at
the
Westmorland Show on Thursday 11th
September on the Lake District Life stand. This one is the biggest of
all the summer shows; please come and say hello if you are there, we'd
love to meet you.

Connie scales the trig column on Birkrigg. Angus is
thinking this is the only sort of summit I get to these days :-(

Casper relaxes on the beach - this is the life!

Casper hauls himself up from a giant hole he has fallen
down!

'Help, I'm being pulled back under'!

'Snaky Cas-s-s-sper is my name'.

Three Dubs Tarn - Angus is off. I wouldn't stand too
close Connie...

...he's winding himself up...

...told you. Too late!

Connie McMahon aged 7 at Moss Eccles Tarn. This month's
BIG achievement...

...swimming certificates for the mile and 2000m, a
fantastic distance to do by anyone's standard. I said to her that's much
further than I have swum...even if you add up all the lengths I have
done EVER!
Dog Daze! Wainwright count (out of 214)

Casper:188
