2008 has been a fantastic year on the fells
for me and I have had some great walks in all kinds of weather
conditions. Regular followers of the site will know we have started a business in
Bowness which has been hard work but has also been very rewarding (and not just
financially!). The website continues to grow apace and has become a way
of life not only for me but for many people who have contacted me in the
last year.
I started to pick my favourite photos of
2008 to put together on a single page but ended up putting them together
with music as a slideshow. I will warn you now that if you want to look
at it it will take ages to download as I won't compromise on quality -
go and make a cup of tea while it downloads! The download is here:

Out of all the pictures I have taken
during 2008, here is my favourite photo of all and I think you will
understand why - I think this sums it all up for me.
...and not forgetting this moment caught by Connie on
the same walk too. Happy days!
All that remains for 2008 is for me to
wish everyone a Happy and Prosperous New Year and perhaps I will see you
up on the fells or in the shop during 2009.
