Dog
Daze! - March 2009
This month's offering has been a while coming but I have
bowed to the pressure of all the Dog Daze! fans and have finally come up
with the goods. It seems like ages ago that the snow was around now as
we are in the throes of a mild and sunny Spring, but looking back at the
photos it wasn't all that long ago! As previously mentioned, the bad
news is that Angus has Congestive Heart Failure and is on tablets to
stabilise the condition as much as possible but the sad truth is that he
does not have much longer until he heads for the biggest fell walk of
all...

The ice age dog awakes from his 13,000 year cryogenic
slumber.

Casper managed to fall into a huge vat of ice cream, but
he had that particular problem licked!

Snowbeard raised his paw as if to signal defeat. 'I
cannae take any more, Captain'.

A cold bath will put hairs on your chest laddie.

'Aha me hearties, 'tis Captain Casper back again to see
yee all'.

'It's a good job someone left that boot under the fence
so I can just squeeze under, it's much easier than jumping.'

'Even better, a tailor made seat in the wall'.

It was no use, the creature from the black lagoon had
hold of Casper's tongue and was dragging him in.

Then, fortunately it let go leaving his tongue six inches
longer than normal with no chance of fitting it all back into his mouth.

The wind was so strong, it was all he could do to hang on
with his front two paws, his rear legs airborne behind him.

Caught in the act of bracken rolling.

'You're not going to make me walk all that
way...no...please, I implore you...boo hoo, wa-ha-ha'

'Who's there?'

The windborne slice of ham was ably captured by hungry
Casper.
