Daze! - May 2009
This months Dog Daze! feels a bit truncated and flat
given the momentous events of last week in our doggy world. Angus has
gone and I hope is his spirit is running free somewhere. He will never
be forgotten by our family, nor I suspect by many people across the
world who's heart's he has touched in one way or another. He was The
King, the wise one and the teacher of all things to Casper. Now Casper
has to take the responsibility of fulfilling the role of being 'the
one', a challenge I think he is more than capable of. Hopefully I will
get an Angus special edition Dog Daze! out soon. It is funny how
things turn out though - fate if you like - a twist of which will be
revealed on this page...

Looks like Casper is trying to fill the colour in and go
for the all black look, the mucky pup.

You could have had a wash Casper!

'On your marks, get set...' Casper gets ready for the
start of the Olympic 100m race!

Sir Casper Bonnington finally makes the tricky ascent of
the summit of Armboth Fell without oxygen or ice axe.

'Help! I'm wedged between these two rocks and can't
move'.

'I'm gonna round up these sheep...'

'...oo, er - on second thoughts no, that one on the right
looks a bit tough to me!'.

'Dad's asleep so I may as well lie here looking regal
enjoying the sunshine.' What a good lad, he never moved from my feet the
whole time I was zonked out!
Less than a week after Angus departed, there was news of
a Beardie litter from the same line as Casper. Do we really want
a puppy so soon after Angus has gone and everything that goes with it? Well, what do you
think Connie said...

...awwww!
This puppy is 3 weeks old and he is one of the litter
(not necessarily the one) we will be getting in a few weeks time.
