 Dog Daze! - June 2009Casper

Angus sadly left us at the very beginning of June and Casper and I took his ashes up to the top of Coniston Old Man where we can keep an eye on him. Thanks to everyone who has e-mailed to say they have visited him up there on their travels, it looks as though he is sure never to be alone.

With that one momentous event in our lives came another with the arrival of young Dougal. Casper, are you up to the challenge of teaching this young pup everything you know?

Sitting on a sharp edge looking at Striding Edge.

The dog lawn mower had his work cut out to finish this one off.

The Whistler.

'Yes, it is absolutely lovely up here at the top of Blawith Knott...'

'...ugh, what is that?!'

It was hard work for Casper to carry the ladder for the full walk but it was worth it when faced with obstacles like this.

'See, I told you that ladder would come in handy'.

'Please...please...just a little lick of your ice lolly..'

'Oh yes, Lord Casperington Casp is my name.'

'Come on out...I know you're in there, you pesky ants'.

Nessie made a rare Lake District appearance.

The Phantom Raspberry Blower strikes again.

'Look, if I follow this wall it goes all the way to the valley bottom'.

'On second thoughts...yikes, it's a long way down from here!'.

Bashful Casper.

Unwanted company in Levers Water by the looks of things. Much more of that to come I think, Casper my lad!

The Wayward Tongue lies just to the north of Troutbeck Tongue!

'Is this the way to Armarillo-illo-illo-illo?'

The black and white winger scored his first try for England.

The grass skier managed to descend the hill without his skis.
