Daze! - November 2009
What a month November turned out to be with torrential
rain and the worst floods ever seen around the Lake District. In between
the storms, there were good days on the fells which we made the most of.
Enjoy our latest out takes and odds and sods from our adventures on the fells, commonly
known as the Dog Daze!

'You take the high road...' What a mountain goat young
Dougally Doo is turning out to be!

The happy couple pose for a scenic photo.

Casper and Dougal came out of the blue.

'Praise be to the mighty god of the trig. column'.

Dougal the sheep eats a grassy lunch.

Casper and Dougal marvel at the giant who is taking
photos of them.

'What about me?'

'Let me at him, let me at him...'

'This is how you do it Dougal...'

'...simples!'.

'Where'd he go?'.

The windswept and rugged look modelled by Casper.

'Look Dougal, this is the easiest way to clean your
nose.'
Introducing Poppy the Beardie, owned by Christine and
Peter Roberts. Poppy just happens to be Dougal's sister...

Remember those cute little brown
pups?

Spot the similarity? Poppy also likes to chew wood, socks and shoes. Nice to
see it runs in the family!
As part of the floods coverage, our local paper the North
West Evening Mail printed quite a few photos, some of which you will be
familiar with. Shame on them for not crediting StridingEdge.net as per
my copyright agreement...
