 Dog Daze! - December 2010

Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow! The run up to Christmas and beyond was marked by the extremely cold weather and the frozen landscape of the Lake District. None of this extreme weather got in the way of the intrepid duo's walking capabilities, in fact they revel in such conditions and Casper especially is a snow monster. I hope you enjoy these out takes from December known as the Dog Daze!

We found a poor little badger, trapped in the snow.

Ha-ha! It's only me!

I wouldn't sniff there if I were you Dougal! Ugh!

Aw, poor little Dougal - he's all alone.

Casper the contortionist can twist his back legs right round.

Wherever we go, Dougal manages to find a nice big stick to chew.

Casper and Dougal look in awe at the giant pointing a camera down at them.

We saw this amazing sight on Christmas Eve at Derwent Water.

A mono scene at Fell Foot (previously unpublished).

The action approximately half a second before the cameraman ends up flat on his back!

Dougal is good at hopping around on one paw in the snow.

Casper finds the giant dog bowl on Gummer's How is frozen.

Who will win the stick tug of war?

There can only be one winner, you know that Connie. Woof!

I found this photo in a book about the history of Keswick...

Look familiar...

Interesting to see some history of our Keswick shop.
