Daze! - March 2011
Spring had sprung at the beginning of March and the
temperatures were on the rise. The snow of winter seemed like a distant
memory as the seasonal flowers began to bloom and the familiar tongues
of the two Beardie boys began to grow longer as they got warmer. I hope
you enjoy the out takes of the boys and more from March, collectively known as the Dog Daze!

Spring was sprung at the beginning of the month with
fields of Crocii around.

'Hold on tight Dougal...we can....make it!'.

'Nom, nom, nom - tasty bracken!'.

I'm dizzy and my head is spinning.

Water, water.

The only patch of snow for miles around and yes, you
guessed it - this is like ice cream for the boys.

Daffodils at Furness Abbey.

Shipwrecked - Casper and Dougal Crusoe on Foulney Island.

The Kings of Foulney on the highest point of the island,
alt. 2m!

The crazy route 1 descent from the summit.

Piel Island from Foulney.

Barking Dougal decides to round me up.

Grasmere view in spring.
Footnote: At the beginning of April it was simply too hot
for Casper and Dougal with full winter coats on, so it was time to get
the sheep shearer's out...
