Furness Abbey
It was a lovely Spring afternoon today -
too nice to stay in - so we had a family walk around the ruins of
Furness Abbey (founded 1127) taking in the sunshine and views of the
Abbey and (of course) the Daffodils.

Connie and Angus get cosy.

Angus.

The Daffodils are lovely down here at
this time of year - amazing to think that a couple of weeks ago they
were covered in snow!

Connie has a look where Dane Ghyll
disappears to through the mediaeval culvert. This beck runs through our
garden further upstream.
