The fell walking Bearded Collies

The fell walking Bearded ColliesFletcher (born 30/03/14) – proper name Breaksea Wayfarer.

Dougal  (born 08/05/09) is from the same lineage as Casper (Sylvabrae Bearded Collies). He also loves eating and as he grows I am sure he will love fell walking too! Proper name Sylvabrae Striding Edge (of course!).

Casper (15/11/03 to 09/02/14 ) was a faithful companion with a great character and with seemingly boundless energy. His main interests were eating and fell running in that order – he now resides with Angus on Coniston Old Man.

Angus (09/03/96 to 03/06/09) was my original fell walking companion who accompanied me on many walks until 2008. He has gone now (but never forgotten) and his ashes are scattered on the summit of Coniston Old Man so that he can be on the fells he loved forever. Spare a thought for Angus when you are next up there and listen carefully, you may hear his barks carried on the wind…
