The fell walking Bearded Collies

Finlay (born 27/03/25) – new pup on the block! He is also a Breaksea Bearded Collie (the same as Fletcher) – proper name Breaksea Striding Edge

Fletcher (born 30/03/14 to 06/02/25) was a Breaksea Bearded Collie – proper name Breaksea Wayfarer.

Dougal  (born 08/05/09 to 02/05/23) was from the same lineage as Casper (Sylvabrae Bearded Collies). He also loves eating! Proper name Sylvabrae Striding Edge (of course!).

Casper (15/11/03 to 09/02/14 ) was a faithful companion with a great character and with seemingly boundless energy. His main interests were eating and fell running in that order – he now resides with Angus on Coniston Old Man.

Angus (09/03/96 to 03/06/09) was my original fell walking companion who accompanied me on many walks until 2008. He has gone now (but never forgotten) and his ashes are scattered on the summit of Coniston Old Man so that he can be on the fells he loved forever. Spare a thought for Angus when you are next up there and listen carefully, you may hear his barks carried on the wind…
